Remodeling your home? You're probably here because an Architect or Designer asked for "as-built drawings" of existing conditions. Watch this video to get a better understanding of what as-builts are, the technology used to create them and related deliverables.
Still measuring properties by hand or depending on outdated surveys? Power your next Landscape Site Plan with LiDAR Technology and Photogrammetry to gather existing conditions quickly and accurately, giving your team the tools to successfully execute. Check this video out!
The cost of as-built drawings varies based on three main factors: location, area (square footage), and scope. Working on a specific project? Click HERE to get a proposal.
Standard deliverables include a Software component (.rvt, .dwg, etc.), a Sheet Set component (.pdf), 360 Photo Tour and a Autodesk Viewer link.
Customers choose Dimensions for our energy, reliability, and the restoration of their creative capacity. Manually capturing existing conditions can be time-consuming, frustrating, and often results in mediocre accuracy. Dimensions excels in saving our clients' most valuable resource—time—allowing them to concentrate on their creative pursuits. Learn more about our Value Propositions in the Industries section of our website.
Dimensions primarily uses Autodesk Revit to model projects based on the Point Cloud data gathered during the Reality Capture phase. Exporting to other software is common and often includes Autodesk CAD, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Rhinoceros, among others.
Yes, a site visit is essential to perform the Reality Capture step in the Scan to BIM (As-Built Documentation) process. Site visits are coordinated with clients in conjunction with other stakeholders and/or owners. Learn more about this process in the Services section of our website.
The time required on-site depends on three key factors: area (square footage), scope, and type of property. Most site visits can be completed within the same day for projects with less than 10,000sf.
